Public sector programs are trying to fight today’s attacks with yesterday’s organizational operating models. I will outline a near‑term, achievable future‑state model for public sector cybersecurity that fully leverages data science/Gen AI technologies, backed by strong governance and leadership. I will connect emerging tools with frameworks like NIST NICE, CSF, and ISO 27001 to present a notional future state program with AI technologies as infrastructure. I will end with a "call to action" to collectively work towards building optimal Future State Program in the year 2028.
